Kwesta to record My Yoki Yoki remix with Vhudie
Former Idols SA contest Vhudie continues to make great strides after leaving the show.
The singer and composer used social media to request rapper Kwesta to feature on a remix of the song My Yoki Yoki.
The single was released on the same day as Cassper Nyovest’s album Any Minute Now. This was a huge gamble that paid off for Vhudie as he trended alongside the Family Tree rapper.
Kwesta agreed to feature on the remix because he too liked My Yoki Yoki and he added that he could see Vhudie has a “good heart”.
Kwesta said: “Akubenjalo (let it be so)! I just have to finish off a couple other features and then we on. Loved that Idols audition. Plus ngathi unenhliziyo enhle so nginawe (I think you have a good heart), so I’m with you.”

Although Vhudie did not make it far in this season of Idols SA, his own composition titled My Yoki Yoki was a huge success with Mzansi audiences. The composer recently released the song as an official single.
