Prisoners’ Jerusalema Dance Challenge video causes stir
The Jerusalema Dance challenge by South African prisoners has caused stir over its legality and morality.
After the video was posted by The Presidency’s Twitter handle, people expressed their disgruntlement over the video, one commented:
This was so unnecessary,what are you trying to portray. That’s SA prisoners are a luxury hotel. Delete this, imagine if victims saw this and and one of the perpetrators was on the video. Let’s be sensitive,this guys are in prison for crimes, horrible crimes

President Ramaphosa called on South Africans to celebrate Heritage Day by taking the Jerusalema Challenge.
The Challenge is based on musicians Master KG’s worldwide hit song Jerusalema.
The videos have been comprised of families, workmates, school mates or friends getting together to celebrate Heritage.
This year’s celebrations will be different as the country is currently in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic with movement restricted by the lockdown regulations.

Engineers have joined #JerusalemaDanceChallenge
The success of Jerusalema has also brought money to its maker. Judging from the numbers, Master KG is estimated to have made over R5 million with the song through streaming and views on platforms such as Spotify and Youtube.

Master KG celebrated reaching 150 million views on Youtube by buying himself a Ferrari.
Everything seem to be changing in Master KG’s life. He even showcased a new girlfriend after breaking up with songbird Makhadzi Muimbi.
The song reached heights that Master KG had not imagined. It was played across the world as all five continents participated in the challenge.
The Israeli government even commented about the song and were happy that it had finally reached home, in reference to the City of Jerusalem in Israel.
The challenge was also joined by sports superstars such as Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo who danced to the song with his wife and friends.
The musician already has sights on the future as he recently announced he was working off a project with one of the best musicians in the word.
