A Councillor who switched sides from the Nelson Chamisa’s MDC Alliance to Thokozani Khupe’s MDC-T through the controversial Supreme Court judgement was humiliated at the funeral of an MDC Alliance member.
The Councillor defected to the Khupe faction after the Supreme court ordered the MDC-T to return to its 2014 structures.
One of the people that spoke at the funeral said, “We are saddened by the passing of our colleague. Its painful. As i speak standing here, it was Innocent’s desire, we also know that Ward 2 voters are angry because you voted Mrs Kuni as she came as an MDC alliance representative, only to take the votes to Thokozani Khupe.”
