Speaking on her childhood introduction to music, she has this to say, “I remember the owner of the pre-school came to me and gave me a solo. This solo was ‘Silent Night’ and girl, that’s when my career took off. This was my time to shine, and I think from the moment I sang that solo, I knew that this is what I want to do for the rest of my life.”

Making music was, at the time, something very foreign to me. And so I had to learn a lot about myself and how I prefer things done, the type of people I prefer working with. Another challenge is finding a producer that truly understands RnB, and embraces my sound because several people try to change and ‘tweak it’, she says.
“Elements is about love. All types of love. All the different elements and emotions that it comes with. I wanted to highlight the fact that love comes in all forms, and there’s no formula to it. It’s not all roses. It gets tough sometimes. And not all types of love are romantic. Love is universal,” she adds.
Who is behind Elaine’s beautiful sonic sound?
The songstress jumps the gun a couple of times and despite all that, she begins working on Elements with producers Clarity and Elyzée. Her manager, Joshua Molotsi who is the fourth and most imperceptible team member, is a final year student at the Academy of Sound Engineering.
