Zimbabwe parliament business has been cancelled after two MPs tested positive for Covid-19. The announcement was made by speaker of Parliament Jacob Mudenda.
Parliamentarians received the following message:
Good morning Team. Please be advised that two MPs have tested Covid19 positive, they were with the Committee on Transport that was out. In view of the above, all business has been cancelled forthwith. This has bey approved by both Speaker and Leader of the House. You are all advised to go back home. Please treat everyone as a suspect and stay safe. Clerk is sending communique through parlzim and to the press.
Speaker of Parliament Jacob Mudenda also made an announcement.
