Emtee Aims to Achieve AKA’s Success
Emtee, one of the most celebrated rappers in Mzansi, recently revealed that he aims to achieve the success that AKA had in his career. Rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes was tragically gunned down outside a restaurant in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal on February 10.
Emtee’s Tribute to AKA
The Roll Up hitmaker took to his timeline to speak about the impact the late rapper had in the music industry and how he wanted to emulate it. Emtee wrote, “One day I’ll be as big as AKA.”
In another post, Emtee praised AKA’s talent and influence. He wrote, “He was a Giant in fact.”
AKA’s Last Album
Before his death, AKA produced and completed his last album Mass Country. The album features some of Mzansi’s hottest hip-hop talent including Khuli Chana, Blxckie, Emtee, Yanga Chief, Sjava and Nadia Nakai.
