Kaizer Chiefs star Siyabonga Ngezana has penned an emotional farewell message that left fans in tears.
Ngezana has sealed a move to Romania’s top division Lige 1 powerhouse Football Club FCSB, formerly Steaua Bucharest.
Leaving Kaizer Chiefs was not an easy decision for Siyabonga Ngezana after being at the club since childhood.
Most fans however could not believe the news, and his farewell message confirmed what most fans did not think.
Losing an academy graduate surely did not come easy for the Kaizer Chiefs fans as they expressed their disappointment.
Siyabonga Ngezana’s Farewell Message
Siyabonga Ngezana penned a lengthy farewell message on his Instagram, saying:
“Angazi ngikhale 😭noma ngijabule 🥹I had many mixed emotions 💔❤️about the decision I took for my future ….”

Sharing on his Instagram, Siyabonga showed so much love to the staff, teammates and fans, saying:
“This has been the toughest decision I’ve took for me and family but I always envisaged leaving on the right terms in the right way and at the right time and that is now … Growing up supporting this team it as a dream come true to be the part of it ….The experiences of highs and lows created great memories of brotherhood ❤️
I will never put into words the love and support I got from this family of Kaizer Chiefs and the fans since day one till this day of my departure …
Thanks to the coaches who coached me in the past for guidance and the words of wisdom likes of Coach @komphelasteve , Giovanni Solinas,Ernst Middendorp, Gavin Hunt, Dellon Shepard and Arthur Zwane” he said.
“I came here as a young boy now I’m leaving as a man (uyindoda Sessa). As I conclude my stay at the clubs I would like to thank all of you staff members,players,manager (Gerald Sibeko)bosses (Kaizer Motaung Junior,Bobby Motaung ) and chairman Dr Kaizer Motaung for the love and support over the past seasons on and off the field.
