Zuluboy Returns To Uzalo
Good news for Uzalo fans! Talented rapper and actor, Zuluboy real name Mxolisi Majozi, is returning to the SABC 1 soapie where he will reprise his role as Sboniso also known as Last Namba.
The Durban born rapper had not appeared on the show in a while with his return promising nothing but endless fireworks as his character is expected to stir things up.
Zuluboy joined the cast of Uzalo at the end of season 4 as Sboniso. Sboniso is a troublesome Youngman who is the younger brother to the equally no good Amos who is played by the talented Ernst Misibi.
Zuluboy’s character also known as Last Namba is a thug and pimp who terrorizes the community. Sboniso idolizes his older brother Amos and will do anything to please him as he feels indebted to him.
The rapper is not a newbie in acting. He has been on productions such as Soul City as Zakes and on the hit e.TV series Gold Diggers where he played the role of Big Boy Gumede. He also appeared on Intersexions as Vukani, as Scarra on Mshika, and on Room 9 as Zombie Bandit 1.
The rapper was born in Ntuzuma, KwaZulu-Natal. His releases include; Masihambisane, iNqolobane, and iGoda.
Earlier this year, Zuluboy was accused by a gospel artist of failing to pay him. In his defence, the rapper accused eThekwini municipality of refusing to pay him for organising a memorial lecture for late MK stalwart Vuyani Nkosi.
He said eThekwini had agreed to pay him R700000 for the event and he was supposed to pay Babo Zuma R30000.
