Background
Zukisa was born in Ncembedlana in Mathatha. She grew up in a large household. Growing up in a family unit filled with women, she needed to be an entertainer from when she was in her teenage years. However she did not angle herself towards realizing her dream until later on. After high school she went and studied Speech and Drama at City Varsity for two years.

Career
Zukisa’s career dtarted off rather small. She worked in kid’s theater, ads and modern perfomance center until break into TV in 2005. This came in the form of the character Fix in Mzee was Two Six. This was then followed by her stellar performance in Tsha.
She also made appearances in Scandal, Tshisa and even Generations in 2008. Her most iconic role is her role as Nomzamo on the queen alongside Rami Chuene, Mara Louw and Thato Molamu. However of late she has decreased the number of shows she appears in due to motherhood and her dedication to being a good mother.
Aside from her onscreen presence, Zukisa has appeared in a number of theater productions. These include Look Before You Leap (Big Time), Don’t Think So, As if, Picture This and Little Bear. She also did a bit of commercial work with Castle Lager, FNB, Esprit, Sunsilk and even Discovery Card.
