It’s another amazing year for Mzansi stars on the international scene. The Nickelodeons come with a number of nominations for some of Mzansi’s favourites- Zozibini Tunzi, Bonang Matheba, Siya Kolisi and Master KG.
Zozibini has made quite an impression as Miss Universe on the international scene. This has earned her a spot for the favourite African Star nomination alongside Mo Salah (Egypt), Sadio Mane (Senegal) and Sheebah Karungi (Uganda). Siya Kolisi’s world cup win with the Springboks had him gaining international traction and so he’s made it into the same category. Thuso Mbedu whose international career is on the kick of is also nominated for Favourite African Star.
The Queen B, Bonang Matheba alongside Wian van den Berg will be fighting it out in the Social Media Star Category. Also in the same category is Elsa Majimbo, Kenya, Ikorodu Bois, Nigeria, Emmanuela, Nigeria and Ghetto Kids, Uganda.
Master KG has been nominated for the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards for Favourite Global Music Star. The best part is, South Africa has the chance to bring this one home for the artist. It’s as simple as voting for him. Voting will be done online, on Twitter by simply tweeting #KCA #VOTEMASTERKG.

The past two years have had South African stars winning the Favourite African Star award consecutively, AKA and Sho Madjozi in that particular order. Third time lucky for Mzansi?
