Zimbabweans must not be used by the army again on 31 July second coup, former colonel says.
Former army colonel and Zanu PF legislator Daniel Shumba has revealed the army could have a hand in facilitating the 31 July demonstration against the Zanu PF government.
Shumba has warned Zimbabweans not to entertain anything that falls short of #ZanuPFMustGo mantra.
Writing on his Twitter page, the former army colonel suggested Harare based church leader Shingi Munyeza is being used by the army to oust President ED Mnangagwa and replace him with Vice President Chiwenga or Foreign Affairs Minister SB Moyo.
He went on to castigate the Zimbabwe Defence Forces saying they are not God and they should not be allowed to determine who rules Zimbabwe and believes the army will not bring about the much needed political reforms in the country.
“The Junta aren’t God to determine who rules Zimbabwe. This is an alliance of some church men, coup conspirators, corrupt gurus, unconstitutional peddlers, and serious human rights abusers. No reforms can be expected from these thugs. when God is in it, no man can get credit,” he ranted.
Shumba, whom some believe is informed, says the coup conspirators have not been heard suggesting they want to remove the Zanu PF government. He called on citizens to be refused to be used by the army.
“Citizens must refuse to be used by the military to remove ED Mnangagwa and his tribesman in a well calculated National Transitional Authority led by either Constantino Chiwenga or SB Moyo.”
He believes this is the second season of a coup in 3 years and called Zimbabweans not to under estimate ‘rogue’ pastor Shingi Munyeza.

Shumba has challenged the ‘proxies’ the conspiracy that the army is behind the march. He also believes a real march would not need a ‘warning order’ as it is driven by deep anger.
“An uprising is never deliberate nor do you give a warning order, it is driven by deep resolve and anger, and it is instantaneous. I challenge the proxies to disprove that the 31st July march isn’t an attempt to rape citizens the second time, but with a promise of marriage,” he ended his Twitter thread.
