The character that Jerome will take on is that of a person who grew up in a rural setup. Dr Nyasha Mugari would have left his home to further his studies, and Nyasha Mugari will even speak in his native language, Shona.
About Jerome Galiao
The actor’s first TV appearances were for a Zimbabwean drama series called Estate Blues. He went on to be a presenter for a Tv show called Youth.com. The actor then moved to South Africa 13 years ago. Jerome was featured in South African TV shows like Umlilo, Gomora, Zabalaza, The Queen and the new drama series HouseWives. All these roles were guest roles, and he believes that they helped push him to land this significant role in Scandal. Landing the role as Dr Mugari is a massive achievement for him, and he hopes it will open more doors for him in the future.
