Whilst a majority of Zimbabweans have attributed the stoppage of loadsheddings to closed industries due to the lockdown, some have attributed it to a good job by Energy Minister Fortune Chasi.
However, the ZETDC announced that it will be cutting off power for Harare Region -South District suburbs for twelve hours whilst it carries critical maintenance works.
The following areas will be affected; New Ardbennie, Willowvale Industrial Area, Eaglesvale School, Glen Norah, Highfield, and Lochinvar. The areas will not have electricity from 0600 to 1800 hours on Saturday 25, July 2020.
