Killer Zivhu recalled from Parliament.
Zivhu was recalled from Parliament by Zanu PF when members of Parliament met on Tuesday afternoon. The speaker of Parliament said Zanu PF had notified the House of Assembly that Zivhu no longer represented the interests of the party.
He was fired from the party in June this year following a decision by the Zanu PF Politburo.
His dismissal was with immediate effect and it meant he was no longer the Zanu PF MP for Chivi South. However, Zanu PF had not yet written a letter to Parliament notifying the house that Zivhu had been recalled.
At the time he was fired, Zivhu said the reason why was he was fired was because Zanu PF is protecting a corrupt and powerful member, whom he had reported to the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission (ZACC).
He said Zanu PF booted him out because he had an unwavering stance on corruption.
Although he didn’t name the member he hinted that the person is a senior member of the Politburo.
Zivhu said:
My effort to recover 1.5 million USD from the most powerful Politburo member yandidzingisa .I reported him to Zacc and I was about to give them evidence. The Chamisa story is just a cooked one. the man was so vicious in the Politburo meeting today to make sure ndadzingwa (to make sure I was sacked)
I will remain a Zanu pf member by heart and support the President on his vision 2030 . I will not stand as Independent whatever comes .I love Zanu pf the people in my constituency will forever cherish my work.
Although Zivhu rubbished the Chamisa angle it was evident that he had stepped on some very big toes when he suggested Nelson Chamisa and President Emmerson Mnangagwa should engage in talks.
In a social media post, Zivhu said Zimbabwe’s problems would be solved if ED and Chamisa open a direct dialogue.
He even suggested that Mnangagwa’s wife, Auxillia, and Chamisa’s wife, Sithokozile should meet up first and pave way for their husbands’ talk.
Zivhu went on to say that he was going to collect signatures from Zimbabweans, to show that there was a consensus for such a political dialogue.
His utterances put him on notice and his latest shenanigans proved to be the final nail on his political coffin.
