After fans thought a picture Zandile posted on 21 September of her new baby held by Kelly Khumalo‘s children meant that they had buried the hatchet, they stand corrected. The singer took to Instagram to address the issue to her followers, and it’s clear Zandile Khumalo is not reconciling with her sister Kelly Khumalo.

In the post, Zandile made it clear that her relationship with Kelly is still very strained. She, however, thinks that there is no need to bring the children into their fights and differences. Her niece and nephew were excited about their aunt’s pregnancy, and they would constantly call her and ask her to place the phone at her stomach so that they speak to the baby. Zandile talked with the children about the issue between their mother and her, and they reached an understanding. The musician went on to say that she is a person who thinks through things before she makes decisions, and the decision she made to take a restraining order from her sister still stands. However, she said that she could not be sure what would happen in the future.
What happened between Kelly and Zandile Khumalo?
Last year Zandile took to social media to announce that she was ‘divorcing’ Kelly because she was toxic. Their problems started because of Kelly’s reaction to an article that had said that Zandile’s husband, Mhlo Gumede, had used Kelly’s name to get money from an event organiser. Kelly then gatecrashed Zandile’s interview at Real Goboza. Zandile had gone live on the show to promote her song Akwanele, which turned out to be an ambush. Zandile stated that this was not the first time Kelly had bullied her publicly. In the end, Zandile said she was filing for a restraining order against Kelly.
The news is a massive blow for fans who had hoped that the two sisters would patch things up. Maybe the future will bring good news.
