South Africa’s fast-rising star actor Zamani Mbatha, brother to Nomzamo Mbatha is set to make his much-awaited debut on etv’s hit soapie Rhythm City as Pule.
The celebrated Mbatha is well known for his outstanding character of Zamani on Isithembiso. Zamani will be playing the character of Suffocate’s adoptive son Pule Ndlovu. His much-awaited debut is slated for the 18th of November.
The return of Pule to Jozi is set to spark a new series of rival wars between Suffo and Khulekani. However not will he only fuel the rival wars but will take Rhythm City fans back to their memory of 2010. Back then in 2010 Pule left for KZN to attend a private school.
Renowned entertainment commentator Phil Mphela took to Twitter to confirm the return of ‘Pule’ to our Rhythm City’s screens. The young Gatsheni finally returns back home.
Mbatha thrust into the limelight when he landed a role as Zamani in Isithembiso. Whilst at Isithembiso Zamani starred alongside his sister Nomzamo in the television series. Perhaps, the brother looks up to her because of the achievements as she has been able to gain since she joined the scene.
Nomzamo, she is celebrated for making to the MTV Base VJ finals. Also, she was recognized as the Best Actress in a Leading Role in 2016 by the African Movie Academy Awards. Lastly, apart from acting, Nomzamo is also a model, activist, and an accountant.
At times, talent can push one to greater heights. Unlike some actors, Zamani Mbatha has never attended any acting school. The KwaMashu-born actor believes that acting is in his blood just like his sister. His acting skills are solely from what he watches other actors do on TV. He is set to rise even further if he puts more effort into what he does.
