Zakes Bantwini the KwaZulu-Natal-born singer and music producer is the most nominated artist on the South African Music Award nominees list. His wife the media personality Nandi Madida shared the news on her Instagram page. As a proud wife, she couldn’t wait to share the news for the world to see.

Out of the 7 nominations his album released in 2021 titled Ghetto King was nominated in the Album of The Year category. Ghetto King is also nominated in the Best Engineered Album category. Among the 7 nominations Zakes was nominated as the Male Artist of The Year and Ghetto King got a Best Dance Album nomination.
