South African actress Didie Makobane is currently famously known for her role playing Zenani in the hit comedy series Entangled. Her role as Zenani is that of Sharon’s best friend, who gets too drunk at her friend’s wedding and ends up spilling secrets of her friend cheating in her speech. Zenani opens a can of worms that almost ends her friendship with Sharon, but they get over their differences quickly.

Zenani is also a married woman to Zweli, whom she met 8 years ago and bonded over the fact that they did not want any children. However, things changed when Zenani started spending time with her friend’s son and started wanting some of her own, so her husband had to reverse a vasectomy he got before they met. The role is a woman rushing to have kids before she hits menopause and can not have any anymore.

The Lesotho-born actress has been in the game for quite some time now as an actress and was popularly known for the role of Tsholofelo in The Estate for all three seasons of the show. She also had roles in serials like Zabalaza, Lithapo, Muvhango, Intersexions and many more. She graduated from Wits University with a degree in Dramatic Arts. Didie was at the National School of Arts for her High School education.
Despite how good she is at playing pretend, she has also shown off her presenting skills during the 10th and 12th seasons of the SAFTAs and was a celebrity guest at Change Down. Didie has also directed her first play, called Us – A room full of women.
