New Lockdown appears probable in Zimbabwe<\/strong><\/p>\n
The country\u2019s cases of COVID-19<\/a> seem to be rising again. Reporting to eNCA the secretary of Information Nick Mangwana<\/a> confirms this.<\/p>\n
Just three weeks after relaxing the strict lockdown. Zimbabweans are being warned against being sloppy about the COVID-19<\/a> protocols. The infection rate is slowly increasing and the police have been arresting thousands of people not being careful and not wearing masks properly.<\/p>\n
The Zimbabwe Republic Police<\/a> issued a statement warning the citizens to follow the COVID-19 protocols. They also informed the public that they will be intensifying corona virus procedures. Lockdowns have affected everything in Zimbabwe from economic activities to social activities.<\/p>\n

Zimbabwe recently received a second batch of the Sinopharm<\/a> vaccine from China and the vaccination process has moved to the second phase. Schools opened on last Monday and teachers are to be vaccinated next. There is still a long way to vaccinate everyone but the government keeps encouraging people to go and take the vaccine.<\/p>\n
The Vice President Constantino Chiwenga<\/a> received his second jab of the vaccine. He took the first as a way of encouraging Zimbabweans to get the vaccine to save lives.<\/p>\n
