Thabo Malema is a South African actor who plays Bohang on eTV’s Scandal. If there is one individual who has managed to get under the skins of every viewer, it has to be Scandal’s Bohang. Probably Mzansi’s most hated on screen character currently. But, not so surprisingly, Thabo Malema who plays Bohang on Scandal is the opposite of his on screen character and is easily a lovable guy.

Other than playing the abusive Bohang on Scandal, Thabo has also featured in Lithapo, Gold Diggers, The professionals, Single Guys,The river, Jacob’s Cross, and Gauteng maboneng . His ad appearances on Yogi-sip, Lotto, Lovelife, and BioPlus have also made him a popular face.

When it comes to his hobbies, Thabo is a pretty laid back guy. “I love spending time with family. I love sports, in particular soccer. I love reading, a bit of pantsula and gumboots dancing. Like other creatives, Thabo has spoken about how Covid-19 has negatively impacted the entertainment industry and particularly him and productions he works on. “The production I was working on was shutdown and as a result one had to stay home. In my line of work you don’t get paid if you don’t work. So, I find it to be very challenging, it has been frustrating financially, as an artist it has cheated me of my daily bread.”
