Talented singer and songwriter Bongeziwe Mabandla is currently in Kinshasa, Congo, filming a movie. He flew out a few days ago and later announced the big move to his fans. He said he promised himself that he’d pursue acting once more when the year started. He is in disbelief that his dream came true four months later.
Bongeziwe will be in a movie called Augure, and he will play the role of a character named Ezra. His Instagram comment section is flooded with kind messages and congratulations. People genuinely love the Isiphelo singer’s aura and personality. They gave him so many words of encouragement. People also reminded him of his acting talents and dashing looks.
Acting experience
Before the Jikeleza hit, the maker started serenading the world with his sweet melodies and emotion revoking lyrics; he used to be an actor. He studied film and graduated from AFDA. He broke into the industry as an actor in the early 2000s. He appeared as certain Mazizi on the show Tsha Tsha. He also acted on Sokhulu and Partners. His most notable role was that of Andy on Generations.
After a while of acting, he fell in love with music more. He then started creating musical masterpieces that are now very soul calming songs. In 2011 he went back to acting and appeared in the movie A Million Colours. The Bawo singer went back to music once more.
He has numerous hits like Jikeleza, Isiphelo, Gunuza, Ndokulandela, Wena and more. He toured Mzansi numerous times, and he has an ever-growing fan base in Europe.
