Wiseman and Ntando Mncube will be a part of a new upcoming production based on the life and times of the former Zulu King, Shaka Zulu. Both men are astute actors, and yes, they are indeed related. From the two of them, we can expect excellent acting and intensity.
Wiseman Mncube
Wiseman Mncube was once an actor in theatre. He was on a theatre okay for The Lion King. After a while, he left the theatre to tackle a different form of acting by joining soapies. He performed on the eTV soapie, which explored the life of miners Gold Diggers. He also starred as the son of a loan shark in Generation The Legacy. Wiseman went to appear on the popular soapie Uzalo. He initially played a doctor but was lured into the life of crime.

Ntando Mncube
Ntando is another brilliant actor. When he debuted his acting career, he appeared on numerous television adverts and ventured into soapies. One of his most notable roles was from Durban Gen on eTV. He played the role of an entrepreneur called Sibusiso, who was heavily in love with Mbali. Ntando also acted on the Showmax hit series The Wife and, he’ll be making a season 2 return.

Currently, it’s a growing trend in the film and television world to play the stories of old warriors. A great example of this is The Woman King, which will be released later in the year. More and more production companies are leveraging African history not being documented enough. Using film will serve as both education and entertainment; the movie will attract audiences who want to learn and those who want to be entertained.
Shaka Zulu was one of the greatest warriors in Africa, and there isn’t a single film about him. A television series was created based on his life but, many people argued it partially showed him. With the production slowly showing their talented cast members, we can see that the best was chosen.
