With young talent coming up on Gomora, many fans wonder who is the most learned among the stars with twenty-five years or below. Gomora has many talented and learned actors, with veteran stars like Connie Chiume ‘Mam Sonto’ and Katlego Danke ‘Thathi’ all having degrees. Some fine stars do not boast a shouting academic background like Zodwa ‘Sannah Mchunu’ and Bongani ‘Thulani Mtsweni’. The Gomora producers have managed to construct a solid team that has since become one of the best in Mzansi.
On the show, there are a lot of characters that are clearly under the twenty-five-year bar that we would want to compare. However, we went in to get their actual age and excluded actors like Teddy ‘Sicelo Buthelezi’ and Sizwe ‘Ayanda Daweti’. Despite looking so young and under twenty-five on the show, Teddy and Sizwe are way over twenty-five in real life. Teddy is thirty-seven years old, while Sizwe is thirty-two years old. With Teddy and Sizwe out, we have Mazet ‘Siphesihle Ndaba‘(25), Sibongile ‘Nandipa Khubone'(22), Tshiamo ‘Lerato Mokoka’ (25), Ntokozo ‘Ntobeko Sishi’, among others.
The most learned among Gomora actors below twenty-five years
Mazet ‘Siphesihle Ndaba’ – Twenty-five years old
Indeed, one of the most learned among the Gomora cast, including the above twenty-five bar. Mazet passed her Matric with a series of A’s, and she went straight to the tertiary level. She then studied Bachelor of Social Sciences with a triple major in Psychology, Economics and Drama at Rhodes Univesity and graduated with high scores. On top of that, Mazet also holds an Honours degree in Dramatic Arts. This became the degree that gave her much waiting for an opportunity in the acting industry on Gomora.
Sibongile ‘Nandipa Khubone’ – Twenty two years old
Nandipa is one of the young actors who grew up in a family that quickly identified her talent. As such, Nandipa did not waste much time studying anything other than her acting interest. In fulfilling their child’s dream, her parents sent her abroad to study Filming, Producing and Directing at the New York Film Academy in the United States of America. After completing her studies, Nandipa got her job as Sibongile on Gomora.
Tshiamo ‘Lerato Mokoka’ – Twenty-five years old
If everything were perfect, Lerato’s academic route would be the same as that of Nandipa. Like Nandipa, Lerato was supposed to go to New York Film Academy, but that did not materialise. Instead, Lerato went to the South African School of Motion Picture Medium and Live Performances (AFDA). There she studied a course that made her a producer and film writer, landing her Gomora role.
Ntokozo ‘Ntobeko Sishi’ – Twenty-four years old
After passing his Matric with flying colours, Ntobeko enrolled for tertiary education. He has a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and Finance from the University of Cape Town (UCT). He holds two degrees complemented with a diploma as young as he is.
Ntobeko also has a diploma in Management, Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurial Studies. He is a genius and arguably the most learned actor on Gomora with twenty-five years or below.
