Luyanda Yaya Mzazi left the SABC 1 soapie Generations The Legacy and disappeared off the radar. She played the role of a girl from an orphanage who got adopted by Getty Diale. Lesedi settled in well with her new Diale family and played the role for years. From her school days, we saw the character changing schools and falling in love with Jerah Moraka.
Jerah Moroka and Lesedi Diale conceived, and she ran away, leaving him behind. She came back with the baby, and drama spewed in her life. Seeing that Jerah is of royal blood, his family tricked Lesedi into giving them their baby to stay within Rustenburg. She continued working but eventually went to visit with her child. Lesedi moving in with her child was how she exited the soapie.

Marriage and child
After leaving the soapie, she focused on her marriage and child. When the character Lesedi was pregnant on-screen, Luyanda was also pregnant in real life. Luyanda reportedly had marital issues, so she decided to take a break and focus on that. Luyanda is a very private celebrity as she rarely posts online, but she seems happy.
She posts content of herself collaborating with some brands most of the time. She also posts content about herself travelling and going to the gym. We have never seen her even once posting images of her child or husband.

Non-Profit Organization
She co-founded a non-profit organisation called Paving Forward Foundation. Her foundation takes old book donations and donates them to schools and creches. Her foundation also donates clothing to children’s homes and people who need them.
Some of the other things Luyanda is doing in her foundation is girl empowerment for teenage girls to stay in school. Another major thing has frequent sanitary pad drives to avoid girls missing school due to periods.
Generations The Legacy Return
Luyanda’s character Lesedi didn’t pass away on the show. She can still return in the future; however, she doesn’t look like she’s in the space to act again anytime soon. She still interacts with the official Generations The Legacy page on the gram.
