Tshidi on Generations The Legacy
The Tshidi character on Generations is the daughter of Gog Zondiwe Mohale (Abigail Kubeka), sister to Tau Mogale (Rapulana Seiphemo). She previously married gangster Khumkani Phakade (Vuyo Dabula) before leaving him for Kabisi Moroka (Mpho J Molepo), a marriage for convenience, control and power. Over the Generations storyline, Tshidi adopted Mpho, a street kid who survived picking pocketing for a living. Tshidi, a streetwise and boardroom gang, uses manipulation and blackmailing to get things done and sway favours in her way. As a business executive, marriage to Kabisi Moroka landed her a CEO position at Moroka owned #Ezweni.
Famous for dicing with danger, Tshidi once went on the run to Botswana while evading the wrath of Jack Mabaso’s hand and lost her son in the process.
What happened to Tshidi on Generations The Legacy?
Tshidi was last seen on Generations The Legacy accompanying Khumkani to Paris after getting divorced and kicked out of the Moroka mansion. Her abrupt exit from Generations in season 7 and exclusion from season 8 triggered opinions amongst fans. According to close sources to the actress, she asked the soapie producers to write her off the script for personal reasons. She bows out of television to focus on her calling; Letoya’s spiritual consultancy business, House of Kgwedi, has made waves in Johannesburg as the demand for traditional medicine booms.
“She was not fired from Generations; the doors are still open for her return. Right now, she had to attend to her Sangoma calling and help people; thus asked for a temporary leave from the soapie.”
