Gomora actor Sizwe ‘Ayanda Daweti’ trends after his alleged salary leaked. Ayanda Daweti plays the character of Sizwe in the Mzansi Magic telenovela Gomora. He joined the telenovela during its second season and has managed to impress Gomora viewers with his unmatched acting flair. Daweti is a promising actor and has been dupped as Mzansi’s next prominent actor as he has an ability to playact every role he is given to portray effortlessly.
The Sizwe role on Gomora is a twenty-four-year-old young man forced into the criminal life by his general Qhoqhoqho (played by Pakamisa Zwedala). Sizwe is a school dropout whose family struggled to make ends meet. He moved to Gomora for greener pastures and landed in the arms of the criminal Qhoqhoqho. He has been a slave and labourer to Qhoqhoqho, and he served him for food and shelter. Sizwe wasn’t happy with his lifestyle, but he didn’t have a choice but to accept it to earn a living.

However, it looks like his criminal life is over as Qhoqhoqho is currently under police custody after killing Buhle (played by Ama Qamata). Sizwe also received a message from Gomora High Principal that he is welcome to join Gomora for his matric. Although they are some green light in his life, Sizwe is homeless as Qhoqhoqho’s friends are after his life.
Despite Gomora being among low-budget telenovelas in Mzansi, the showrunners of the show have managed to pay their actors handsomely. As a recurring actor, Ayanda Daweti’is is taking home a salary of R16 000 a month.
Will Sizwe leave Gomora after Qhoqhoqho goes to jail
Speculation about the continuity of Sizwe’s role on Gomora has been raised as Qhoqhoqho is facing jail. Gomora viewers are assuming Sizwe’s character may be written off the storyline. Sizwe’s character was introduced as a gangster young man who worked under Qhoqhoqho. He was a good-hearted boy who used to help the MaSonto family when Qhoqhoqho was planning a bloody heist against them. Will Sizwe’s character survive after Qhoqhoqho is sent to jail, or will it be irrelevant?
Ayanda Daweti’s acting career
The actor making waves on Gomora is famous for his roles on Scandal as Chumani Langa. In Scandal, he was a son of a businessman Siseko Langa ( played by Hlomla Dandala). He took over his father’s business empire after his father died and later discovered he wasn’t the biological son of Siseko, making the beginning of his downfall.
