Uzalo’s MaNgcobo ‘Dawn Thandeka King’ and Njeza’s viral home visit moments
Dawn Thandeka King, who plays the role of MaNgcobo on Uzalo, got a surprise from the man who plays Njeza. Nkanyiso Makhanya visited Dawn in her home and gave her the flowers and wine.
Both talented actors had a long chat, and Nkanyiso went out with Dawn and her children after giving her a gift. They seem to have a tremendous offscreen relationship, unlike their squabble in the Uzalo storyline.
Seeing actors having a genuine connection off-screen is quite refreshing. Nkanyiso can learn a thing or two from Dawn, and it’s fantastic to see him taking advantage of that opportunity. At times actors part with their former colleagues and bosses on very sour terms.
MaNgcobo is back to filming on DiepCity, and she might make an Uzalo return one day. Both characters can pull off severe heists in the future together.

Dawn Thandeka King returns to the screen
Earlier this year, Dawn went back to filming Diep City as MaShenge. She went back on set after recovering from a leg fracture. Fans were buzzing with excitement as she is one of the most adored actresses in Mzansi. Yes, there were rumours that she was leaving the soapie indefinitely. Rumours of Black Brain underpaying their actors started making serious rounds in the media.
Nkanyiso Makhanya’s new show is looming
Nkanyiso posted a glamorous image of himself wearing a silk shirt on a fancy couch. On the couch, he was sitting with the talented actress Swankie Mofoko.
He captioned the photo with the words, “New work loading.” With his on and off screentime with Uzalo and the image, he let fans know he was working on something. With the clothes he is wearing in that particular image, it’s safe to say he’ll be playing a lavish man.
Uzalo’s storyline and the probability of a return from the two
Currently, Njeza is still in prison with Sbu, and they are getting closer. Mangcobo is still in hiding since her massive car heist. There could be a full-time return of the two actors in the future. Especially seeing the fact that Nosipho is becoming a powerhouse on her own.
Mzansi’s reception to the character MaShenge
In Diep City, people are happy with MaShenge’s return. Her character is humorous and reminds Mzansi of a black woman they can relate to. A strong black prayer woman who does her best to make ends meet. A prayer woman who tries her hardest to protect her family.
