Fellow colleagues of Shide couldn’t hide their tears and pain of losing one of the most celebrated actors. Gugu Gumede who plays MaMlambo on the hit daily drama series said.
I was literally just watching these videos on my phone and already feeling nostalgic. It has been both an honor and a privilege to work with you, my friend. I will miss you and your kindness greatly. Godspeed on your journey; I have a great feeling you’re about to kill it even more! –
Watch: Uzalo Qhabanga Befitting Farewell Leaves Fans In Tears
Rumour has it that Qabanga and Gabizile were fired after a tiff with the producer. The Uzalo’s favourite couple has been on the news after news broke out they have been fired from the Uzalo show.
The news of his exit was once confirmed back then by entertainment news guru Phil Mphela, who said the actor was on his way out of the soapie. Shibe was rumoured to have been fired from the soapie back in June but he vehemently denied the reports. Now, I can confirm that the actor is leaving the show.
While no reason has been given for his exit, Uzalo writers have insisted in the past that they don’t fire actors but their storylines just run out. It could be that Qhabanga’s storyline has come to a conclusion on the show.
