‘He hasn’t been well for a long time; at times, he gets better for a while and falls sick again. We have lost our covering and provider, but I believe he is in a better place,’ she says.
Noxolo has enjoyed a fair share of success in the previous twelve months; she acquired a house and spoiled herself with a new car collectively worth R 2.8 million.
Noxolo Mathula is not President Jacob Zuma’s daughter
Lily from Uzalo’s picture with former President of South Africa Jacob Zuma, at his Nkandla homestead, raised eyebrows that the two were father and daughter. Though Noxolo regards President Jacob Zuma as her father, she is not his biological daughter; she revealed that Jacob Zuma is the father to the vulnerable, and through his scholarships, she managed to attend school.
On Uzalo, actress Noxolo Mathula plays the role of Lily, a policewoman who hails from the humble Dongwe family. She inspires black and less privileged girls that no matter what lives throws at you, perseverance lies in victory. Over the storyline, she has experienced hunger, rejection, and humiliation, but she managed to conquer it all and remains uncompromised in what she believes in.
Condolences pour in for Noxolo’s loss.
