Uncle Waffles stunned fans by her second rendition of the popular umlando challenge. On this particular rendition, she didn’t switch various locations like the other contenders. She did the dance behind the decks.
Attire and how fitting her fit was
We talk about her gigs, her dancing but we also need to address her fashion. Uncle Waffles has a unique style of dressing that is unmatched by any other Mzansi celeb. On the challenge, she wore a black sporty crop top, a pair of black tights and an oversized pink shirt. As we all know; most male umlando challenge participants wear long pants and nothing at the top. There hasn’t been an official specific female attire for females and, this might be it.
Quite frankly, if you want to win something then you have to enter more than twice, and Waffles qualifies to take this for the females.
Uncle Waffles influence
Nobody can be unique without inspiring others to be like that. People like Uncle Waffles are trailblazers. She came into the scene, not with the aspirations of being like Bonang, not trying to be like DJ Zinhle. Her stage name Uncle Waffles also raised a lot of conversation. Why would a young female call herself Uncle something? She is not trying to conform to any type of normality. Most recently; famous YouTuber Lasizwe Dambuza went clothing shopping to buy an outfit that was inspired by the young DJ. When he posted images, he captioned them with the words, “Aunty Pancakes.” What did Uncle Waffles do? She commented with the question, “Why do you look better?” Drake, yes, Drake the Worst behaviour rapper is one of her Instagram followers.
Dancing Nkao Tempela
Umlando wasn’t the only challenge she participated in, she’s also been doing the Nkao Tempela challenge very frequently. She’s also been spotted a couple of times doing the tiger dance challenge.
Uncle Waffles career in 2022
2022 is definitely the year of double blessings for Uncle Waffles. Her following is getting bigger and she keeps getting booked for gigs. She’s only been a DJ for just over a year but the success is overwhelming.
