Kabelo Vincent Ndlovu, also known as Uncle Vinny, performed in Kenya, and the crowd went insane. His energy was contagious, and everyone watching couldn’t get enough of him. He did his signature dance moves, and those elevated the energy in the entire arena. His dressing style, hair and energy made the performance look like a Travis Scott concert.
Vinny knows how to get the crowd jumping. He is known as the teenager who filled up Braam, although he’s not quite a teen anymore. Why does he call himself Uncle Vinny? His late grandfather, whom he was very fond of, was Vinny. He chose his name as his stage name to keep his memory alive.
Uncle Vinny’s signature dance
Vinny’s signature dance moves are unique. He puts his hands up and moves his body in circular motions. Due to that specific move, people use the tornado emoji to describe his dance on social. Late rapper Ricky Rick was a fan of the young man, and he liked doing the Vinny dance. He shared multiple videos of himself dancing on his social pages. He also gets booked as a dancer to perform his moves in various events.
Uncle Vinny’s career milestones
Vinny began his career when he was in grade 9 of high school. He was only 15 years old, but he was already a radio presenter on Hillbrow FM. He is also very famous for his dance moves, and he gets booked to perform his dances. Right now, he’s an MTV VJ. He works alongside Nomalanga Shozi, Frieda Metsileng and Tshego Koke on MTV.
His fashion style
He’s one of the most stylish young males in the industry. His style mainly consists of unique graphic t-shirts with images of artists on the front. He wears those t-shirts with loose-fitting pants and the trendiest sneakers. Recently, he started experimenting with Big Zulu’s style of dressing. He wore an ‘ inkabi ‘ outfit: formal pants, formal shoes, a jersey with kites, and a gold chain. Mzansi was not impressed, and fans asked him never to dress that way again.
Small bio
Uncle Vinny was born in the KwaZulu-Natal Province. He moved in his childhood to Hillbrow Johannesburg, where he witnessed many crimes. Instead of being influenced by his surroundings and succumbing to being a criminal, he chose to follow his love for art and entertainment. He gives thanks to his former high school, the National School of Arts, for helping him harness his talents.
