Cassper Nyovest taking Billiato to the top
Cassper Nyovest launched the tequila beverage Billiato while celebrating his birthday at his luxurious mansion in Johannesburg. It was a very successful launch attended by South Africa’s top celebrities like Pearl Thusi, Kamo Mphela, Mbali Nkosi, Lasizwe, to mention a few.
The self-praising star who shows off his luxurious life on social media quickly acknowledged his music efforts as an important factor in growing his business empire, and Billiato is no exception.
On 6 February 2022, Cassper Nyovest posted on Facebook that Billiato was sold out at Konka on the official launch in Soweto. The trend is that wherever Cassper launches the fancy liquor, patrons will clear every Billiato bottle for sale.
Cassper Nyovest made sure to have stocked Billiato in what he called ‘all reliable’ liquor outlets in South Africa by 26 January 2022. He also made it available online by the same date. It did not take hours until the Billiato started to trend in South Africa on Twitter.
On 29 January, Cassper Nyovest’s Billiato was sold out ‘again’ in Johannesburg, as he mentioned on his Facebook page. Liquor outlets were made to wait for two weeks to get supply from Cassper, who claimed that the demand was so high for Billiato.
No doubt, Cassper Nyovest is taking Mzansi by surprise. In a short period, Billiato is already growing to be one of the top liquors originating from South Africa alongside Amarula, Pinotage and Chenin Blanc.
