It seems as if Mpisane couldnt act like other players and allow the coach to do his job. The star was then substituted from the game hour mark. However, the move was welcomed by many as he struggled to match the game’s tempo.
In the mix of things, Mzansi has been blasting him for his overweight. Many felt Andile was scolding him for substituting him. Fans were convinced that he should work on his body if he wanted to continue playing professional football. A video circulating on social media shows the moment the star seemingly had a heated exchange with coach Khabo Zondo.

Last year Royal AM chairman and player Andile Mpisane failed simple passes during his club’s warm-up session before facing Mamelodi Sundowns in the DStv Diski Challenge. The musician-cum footballer was donning the famous number 10 shirt and looked to get himself in the playing rhythm to participate in the match.
Perhaps Andile hoped to come on as a substitution when his team was leading by a margin, but it was not to be. The flamboyant businessman remained on the bench for the rest of the match. Andile’s warm-up video was not impressive, and he never looked ready to participate in the game.
