Ever since the debut of The Wife on Showmax, many people have been hooked on the enmity between the Zulus and the Majolas. The two families did not see eye to eye on anything, and how the Zulu brothers killed two Majolas did not help the beef. Towards the end of the two seasons, the Zulu brothers managed to take down the Majolas forever by killing them like prey.
Siyabonga Shibe played Gwaza, the oldest Majola brother and played his villain role till the end. Bonko Khoza played the third oldest Zulu brother who hated the Majolas as much as they hated his family. The two actors have left the show and will not be returning for the show’s third season.

In a video shared by Siyabonga Shibe on Instagram, he announced that they both are working on another show already. According to Shibe’s post in this production, the two are not enemies but on the same side. Bonko Khoza is smoking a pipe in the video while wearing fake gold teeth, so people assume he is playing a gangster role. The two actors said that this new production they are working on is exciting and called it fire.
Many fans love seeing the two together and working on new projects after leaving their roles on The Wife. Both of them are great actors with loads of talent, and seeing them land jobs makes their fans proud. Former castmate Abdul Khoza reacted to this reunion by liking it and commenting on the video with fire emojis.
The Wife cast act like family off-screen as well
The Wife is one production that created a brotherhood in its cast members since its debut. The actors on the show have shown that they like hanging out even when they are not working through their social media posts. They went from being family on-screen to off-screen, supporting each other’s other hustles and careers. Even though it’s the one who plays the Zulu brothers hanging out off-screen, it’s refreshing to see these two who played opposite roles together.
Siyabonga Shibe has been in the news because of his new acting gigs after he left The Wife. He, however, had a scandal last week that had people saying he was arrested. Bonko Khoza, on the contrary, is scandal-free and has been enjoying all the jobs he has been getting since his role as Mqhele broke out, and many productions wanted a piece of him.
