The story, as told by the trailer, shows the story of how Shaka came to this world out of wedlock by his mother, Queen Nandi. Her family faces a disgrace, and the Etsy her from her family causes her to run away many times with her children. Shaka is mentored into a warrior by King Dingiswayo, and after his father dies, he goes back to rule over the Zulus with his mother by his side.

Nomzamo Mbatha, who takes on one of the leading roles as Queen Nandi in the series, is also the Executive Producer of Shaka Ilembe. After a lot of research to try and give a more accurate chain of events than the other poorly researched productions before, this sets to tell the story with more information than before.

The Cast of Shaka Ilembe

Lemogang Tsipa will play the role of Shaka as the adult version of the King and Ntando Zondi as the younger version of the King of the Zulu. Thembinkosi Mthembu will play the role of King Dingiswayo, while Wiseman Mncube will play the role of the historic King Zwide. Shaka Ilembe is set to debut in a 12-episode series on Mzansi Magic in 2023, but the date is yet to be announced to the public.

The public is impressed by the Shaka Ilembe trailer that the production house has shared, and they are commenting with a lot of fire emojis in the comment section. They also can not wait to see the drama after all the action shown in their trailer.
