Watch: Somizi reminds us why he is The Som G of the industry when he takes Makhadzi on in dance on stage

The man has no limits when it comes to talent. Somizi shared a video of himself dancing with the Queen of Tsonga music. That is none other than, Makhadzi.

As we all know, Makhadzi has made a name for herself as the dancing Queen of the new generation, but if Makhadzi is the Queen of the new generation, the Somizi is her teacher.

SomizI won our hearts when he was still just a child, and the fact that he managed to create a name for himself away from his very famous parents is legendary.

In the video, the multimedia personality is seen joining Makhadzi on stage to dance to one of her hit singles Tshentsha Magiya. Somizi took to the stage to join Makhadzi and her dancers, and as the saying goes, he killed it.

SomGaga was hosting the PanSALB (Pan South African Language Board) awards. These awards honour language in our country, and all platforms are through music, poetry, print, broadcast and much more.

The awards were launched in 2010 to acknowledge the negative impact colonialism and apartheid had on language in South Africa.

Somizi and Makhadzi’s dance is more than just a dance; it is an expression of African pride and represents perfectly what June 16 stands for in this country.

On June 16, 1976, the apartheid government police shot and killed hundreds of students protesting peacefully against the use of Afrikaans in their studies.

Mhlongo takes over the stage and owns it. He ends up showing some dance moves to the Queen herself. Somizi started his career as a choreographer as well as an actor. He was one of the dancers and actors in the internationally acclaimed movie Sarafina, so you know he was in his element and didn’t disappoint.

At some point, Makhadzi kneels and gives Somizi time to get down on his own, and then they both get listed in the beat.

Somizi captioned the video:

last night, I co-hosted the pansalb_za awards, and this is what happened …I bow down to this talented Queen @Makhadzisa

He looks like he is having the best time of his life on that stage.
