The first season ended with quite several cliffhangers that have had people curious. Hlomu was dancing under the sheets with her brother Nqoba, and her brother walked in on them. The Zulu brothers were unaware that the Majola brothers witnessed them getting rid of the commissioner’s wife’s dead body. After that, they broke into the prison to get Zandile out with the help of a guard.

The second season will start on a bang with Nkosana having to explain to his children how their mother, whom he said was dead, came back to life. Zandile finds it hard to try and fit in with her own family as her kids reject her and call Hlomu their mother. Also, it looks like Nqoba has caught feelings he thought he had buried long back from their one-night stand. Langa can not help but warn his sister that once Mqhele finds out, there will be trouble.
What to expect on The Wife second season
On the other hand, back at the prison, the absence of Zandile is bound to be found out afer all the roll calls that the other guards do. A new character who is an inmate looks like she is up to no good. The Majolas are on a quest to destroy the Zulu brothers. They kidnap one of the accomplices in getting rid of Lerato’s body and get the truth out of him through violence. After they get the confession, they plan to tell the commissioner the truth.
Fans of The Wife can not wait for Thursday and the trailer is already trending on Instagram. Some are exvcited that Khanyi Mbau s taking the reigns as the leading lady in this second season and can not wait to see her unleashed. The writer of the books on which the series is based on has become a sensation and fans are applauding her for a job well done.
