Pitso Mosimane, Royal AM doing wonders
Al Ahly is currently sitting top of the Egyptian Premier League table after winning the opening three games, scoring at least four goals in two of the matches. Mosimane’s side put four past Ismaily without a reply, despite finishing the game with ten men. Al Ahly thrashed bitter rivals Zamalek 5-3 to take early control of the domestic league in a more significant win.
On the southern part of the continent, Royal AM is performing better than expected. Despite losing their first match, the club run by MamMkhize’s youthful son Andile Mpisane currently sits fourth on the log, seven points adrift of holders Sundowns. Royal AM beat Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs and drew with Orlando Pirates.
