After the actor Sithembiso SK Khoza got fired from the Mzansi Magic show The Queen, the star opted to pursue a career in music. He performed for a crowd for the first time, and they went insane over him.
SK Khoza tried pursuing a career in music
SK Khoza broke into the South African entertainment industry as an actor and presenter. In 2014, the presenter tried his luck in music by releasing a hip hop song titled ‘It is what it is. His rap career didn’t take off as he didn’t heavily invest himself into it, and there were too many rappers dominating the rap genre in SA. SK Khoza continued his acting career, with his most notable role being Shaka on The Queen. He tried again to find his feet in music again in 2019 but failed again. Now that he was fired from The Queen, he pursued music full time.
SK Khoza’s performance made the crowd insane
So many fans! The star did a live performance for a large crowd for the first time, and they all loved him. Khoza sang a bit of the song Roll Up by Emtee, too, and the crowd was responded joyfully. If things carry on at this pace, he’s likely to be one of the most booked performers in Mzansi.
Shaka fired from The Queen
After his ex-fiance, the dentist Mandy Hlongwane opened an assault charge against the actor, SK Khoza was fired immediately by The Queen. He played the role of Shaka. This was not the first time SK attracted bad publicity while working for The Queen. In the year 2020, the actor was captured in a video where he attended a house party with nude women during the lockdown, there was also alcohol consumption in the party, and at the time, it was prohibited by law in attempts to help curb the number of new Covid 19 infections. The assault charges were either pressed after his last warning from the show, or The Queen wanted to disassociate themselves with his brand.
