The Qwabe Twins are at this year’s Reed Dance. The two were seen in a Tik Tok video with several other young girls shortly after passing their virginity tests.
In the IsiZulu culture, there is a reed dance in which all of the nation’s virgins congregate in one location to celebrate their virginity. The Qwabe Twins were seen dancing with the other girls, proudly displaying that they were still virgins. The videos have made rounds on social media, and fans are questioning the duo’s virginity.
The Zulu girls arrived there dressed in their traditional garb. Of course, Virginia and Viggy did not forget the assignment; they were donning short yellow skirts known as izigege, with white tops and an array of stunning and vibrant beads to commemorate the occasion. Their culture considers it admirable and beautiful to remain virgins until marriage, and the twins follow this tradition.
The Zulu King of the moment will go to the national reed dance, called Umkhosi Womhlanga, and choose his wife from the young groups of maidens there, so when the girls go there, they are aware that they might be chosen to marry the king. Given that the Qwabe twins are always pictured together and have promised never to separate, he may choose either or both of them. King Misizulu, the reigning monarch, will be the one selecting.
Despite their youth, The Qwabe Twins have accomplished a lot. The duo has had many hit songs, including Ngilimele and Hamba. They first became well-known due to Mzansi’s Idols, a well-liked singing contest. The Idols show had its most intriguing season because of the twins.
Both were eliminated from the competition when one failed to place in the top five while the other did, causing the other to quit. After that, many people believed they would never hear from the twins again, but DJ Tira had something else in mind. He carried the twins in his arms, and the DJ is solely to blame for the twins’ success in the music industry.
Because of DJ Tira, The Qwabe Twins are now among the most well-known artists in Mzansi. Everything appears to be going well for the duo, as they are at ease in Tira’s record label, Afrotainment. The twins always hang around influential people in the game, and their boss makes sure to plug them. They seem very content. In contrast to many other artists from other labels, they have not raised any complaints about the DJ failing to pay them their dues.
