There is an element of truth in every joke. A video of Musa Mseleku joking with his first wife Busisiwe MaCele about dating Mampintsha’s widow is making rounds on social media. In the viral video shared by Mseleku on Instagram, MaCele brought up the debate around Mampintsha’s hit song Ngeke, where many questioned whether Mampintsha says Yinj’u Mseleku (Mseleku is a dog), Ung’shooteleni, or Ung’jutheleni.
MaCele says:
“He called you a dog while he was still alive. Now we can see why. You are a dog. You want Babes?”
Mseleku jokingly quotes Mampinstha’s lyrics from Distruction Boyz’s Shut Up & Groove in his response.
“I’m a top dog. I never said Babes’ eyes mesmerise me.”
“Mampintsha is my friend, Babes is my friend,” he added, referring to Babes’ Umngan’wami hit song.

Mseleku’s joke set tounges wagging on social media as many are convinced that the polygamist may be planning on dating Babes Wodumo since his husband is late. Babes Wodumo’s late husband, Mampintsha, died on December 24 in the hospital after suffering from a stroke. Polygamist Mseleku attended Mampitsha’s funeral at the International Convention Centre in Durban on December 30 to bid farewell to his long-time friend. Mseleku was escorted by his third with MaKhumalo to the funeral.
Before Mampintsha’s death, his marriage with Babes was on rocks due to his infidelity. Well, it looks like Mseleku plans on making Babes Wodumo happy by dating her and giving her the love and expensive lifestyle she deserves.
Mzansi reacts to Mseleku’s video
After Mseleku posted a video joking about dating Babes Wodumo, Mzansi reacted differently. Others take it as a joke, whilst the majority feels like there is an element of truth in what Mseleku said. A Twitterati commented
It won’t be a bad idea if Mseleku wants to date/marry Babes Wodumo. She used to be cheated on. At least this time, she will have sister wives, not side chicks.
