Netflix South Africa has released a trailer for the latest local drama series called Savage Beauty. Before the series has even begun streaming, fans can tell that it will be a hit. From the star-studded cast to the fashionable and dramatic setting, Savage beauty is a most likely success.
The story follows a young woman called Zinhle who penetrates a powerful family called Bhengu. She earns her position as the face of their company, but Zinhle has a secret mission for getting close to the family. The beauty is set on a revenge mission against the family and hides scars under her makeup. The journey will involve a lot of betrayals and lies to reach the ultimate goal.

Meet the cast of Savage Beauty on Netflix
Zinhle’s character will be brought to life by Rosemary Zimu. Many know the South African actress by her role in The Queen portraying Warona and in Generations The Legacy portraying Thembeka. This is the first role that Zimu has landed playing the lead actress, and it’s a milestone for her.
The Bhengu family will have Dumisani Mbede as the head of this wealthy family as he is a business tycoon. The actresses who will take on the roles of his two wives are Nthati Moshesh and Angela Sithole, being first and second wives, respectively. Jesse Suntele will take on the part of one of the Bhengu children. Oros Mampofu and Mpho Sebeng are part of the cast as well.
The drama series will start streaming on Netflix globally on the 12th of May 2022. Being a production filled with familiar faces that Mzansi loves, fans can not wait till the premiere. Quizzical Pictures produce the series for Netflix, and many other celebrities will make appearances with cameo roles like Sarah Langa, Kefilwe Mabote, Lasizwe, etc.
