MTV Base and City Press Celeb City hosted the two singers for PR ahead of their fight on 9th April at Sun City. The fight we’ve been waiting for is almost here, and the excitement around it builds up as the day draws nearer. The Cassper vs Naakmusiq match is due to take place in Sun City, and it is going to be a three-day event, starting from the 8 to the 10th of April 2022.
Today City press CelebCity, partnering with MTV Base South Africa, brought the two stars together in the same room for the first time since the challenge. The room was full of entertainers and press, all waiting to catch a glimpse of the two men of the hour.
NaakMusiq’s trainer made sure that we understood that on the day of the match, all of their hard work would pay off.
“We are sticking to our plan of beating the person.” He said to a cheering crowd.
The stars were joined by DJ Tira and DJ Somebody, who is also listed as part of the performers for the big night.
Boxing SA acting CEO Eric Masikayezwe was also on stage. He said that he hopes that endorsing these exhibitions will attract many people to learn about Boxing sport.
The event was hosted by Radio and TV personality Pamela Mtanga, who will be one of the red carpet hosts.
“I am gonna Naakmusiq OUT,” said the confident Cassper Nyovest. He said that he has been putting in the work for the fight and knows it’s going to be a great fight.
Cassper said that he doesn’t think there is any celebrity that can take him in the Boxing ring.
Cassper acknowledged Slik Talk for the birth of this phenomenon. He threw a shout out to him and said that this whole event wouldn’t happen had he not accepted the challenge to fight in December 2021.
The two stars had a face-off moment, and it became seriously intense, and everyone started to feel the energy between the two musicians.
The list of performers over the weekend event has been released and even Cassper and Naaqmusic are listed as performers.
Some of the big names who will be performing over the weekend include Big Zulu, Kamo Mphela, Zakes Bantwini, Nasty C, Sphectacula and DJ Naives, to mention a few.
