Makhadzi’s fans were shocked after a video of the singer pushing a dancer off the stage surfaced on the internet. Mzansi is divided over whether the pushing was deliberate or not. Many people think the singer deliberately pushed her dancer. Why would our favourite African queen do something like that? Everyone knows her as a sweet and humble soul.
What exactly happened in the video?
Well, Makhadzi was on the stage, getting the crowd jumping as usual. Makhadzi and two dancers were pouring champagne off the stage whilst jumping. Her pushed dancer was moving her hand in circular motions instead of doing it directly off the stage. The champagne from the dancer splattered on Makhadzi, then she went off the stage, and she fell off.
After she fell, Makhadzi immediately stopped performing and checked on her. Quite frankly, the push looked very deliberate; it looked like Makhadzi was annoyed at the dancer. Perhaps after realizing she pushed her off the stage instead of just stopping here, she regretted the move.
Mzansi reacted
Since Makhadzi has a considerable fan base, the star has her online defence force. Some people argued that she tapped the dancer to tell her to stop pouring the champagne-like that. The Kokovha singer has very complex dance moves she can’t perform on a wet stage to avoid an injury.
For some people, the Mavhoda lotion range owner proved violent and immoral. Others think the Salungano singer was deliberately pushing the dancer. Many people advised the dancer to sue Makhadzi as she was very wrong. Quite tricky times, I tell you.
