Mbatha showed up at Kwanjomane’s with the KFC first lady and exercised his power in style on Uzalo. Mbatha has crowned the first lady of KFC, and he is ready to show her off to the world, but not without the drama that only Mbatha can bring.
As we all know, Mbatha has been after a rich Mzmfundisi for weeks, and he found her in Sonto and is now spending that cash.
In the video, Mbatha is seen giving Kwanjomanes staff problems because he did not book a table, and when he got there, he found a full house and had to wait for other tables to be free.
This sends him over the edge when Hlelo explains it to him.
Mbatha threatens to report Hlelo to Nkunzi for incompetence and get her fired.
Sonto just stands there watching in disbelief as a man of God loses it of a minor thing like losing out on a table he didn’t even book, to begin with.
Sonto is about to learn some very disturbing things about her new man.
According to the teasers, Mbatha is going to show his true colours sooner than we think of her. She will find herself coming out of pocket for everything that needs money at KFC.
Mbatha wants to start selling KFC merchandise to promote the church, and Sonto is going to be the one paying for everything. Things will have escalated so much by Thursday that he will try and market those products on K Mash FM, particularly on Gabisile’s show.
Sonto will realize what is going on and emotionally check out from her relations with Pope Bishop, but he will be too busy to notice.
Mbatha has established his church since the beginning, giving Pastor Gwala and the KKC a run for their money. Gabisile mentioned this when Gwala visited the Mhlongo house several days ago.
Pastor Gwala is not taking everything too personally; he just told Gabi to chill because he’s got this.
KFC is still running from a classroom in a school at KwaMashu, a church that hasn’t been built yet.
We have to hand it to the Pope, he is a determined man, and he works hard for that money.
He is walking a very thin line between a person who works hard and pimping himself.
