Watch: Makhosazana from Imbewu ‘Lusanda Mbane’ shuts down the dancefloor at friend’s 40th birthday
Umhlobo Wenene radio presenter and Imbewu actress Lusanda Mbane who plays Makhosazana shut down the dance floor at her friend’s party. Everyone knows she’s quite the actress. Lusanda has amazing skills that can portray both love and evil. Sometimes when she is in the Umhlobo Wenene studios she dances a bit but this time she was on an actual dance floor.
Outfit slayed
As a fashion queen in her own right, she also slew her outfit. She was wearing a satin bodysuit with a long trail to give her that extra effect. To complement the look she wore a semi wavy Brazilian wig that made her pop.
Mdu Masilela’s performance
Legendary Kwaito musician Mdu Masilela had the microphone and he was singing his classic hits. Mzansi goes crazy when those songs come in the speakers and Lusanda was no exception. We saw a softer side of the actress when she danced with her older brother.
Big on Family
Dancing with her brother was not the first time she proved her love for family. She shares a lot of snaps with her family. She expresses her love for her husband and two daughters. Lusanda also participates in a lot of dance challenges with her children.
Fascinating acting life
Lusanda has acted on a lot of television shows. Her most notable roles are from three shows. Firstly there was the SABC 1 sitcom called AboMzala where she acted a very grumpy house maid with a snack stall. Her second big acting role was on the eTV soapie called Scandal where she played the villain Boniswa Langa. She now plays a conniving and ambitious Makhosazana on eTV’s Imbewu The Seed.
Lusanda had a very eventful weekend. She was the emcee at Sivenathi Mabuya’s wedding. Ironically the two built a solid relationship when they were acting together on Scandal. Sivenathi played her daughter Xolile Langa and both of them stayed in touch after leaving the soapie.
