On Sunday, Singer Makhadzi appeared on Big Brother Mzansi got Mzansi crowning her as the queen of South African music.
The dance-cum musician was wearing a glittering top and was putting on a red wig. She was joined on the stage with different dancers as she belted song after song. Her act was well polished that it felt like she put in a lot of preparation for the event.
In typical Makhadzi fashion, the singer knelt and crawled on stage as emotions got the better side.
Reunion with Master KG
Makhadzi has got back together with Master KG after going separate ways in 2020. The couple has been making news, and it seems their reunion is headed for marriage this time. Makhadzi was recently introduced to Master KG’s mother. The Jerusalema composer also called the Limpopo born artist his wife during a performance late last year.
Makhadzi is calling Master KG her king in her recent post. “A king’s birthday is around the Conner. Please Go and get your tickets. Let’s celebrate his birthday this Saturday at propaganda Pretoria,” Makhadzi wrote on Twitter last week.
Fight with Babes Wodumo
Tweeps have been joking about how Makhadzi stole fellow musician Babes Wodumo’s style during her performance today. Babes are usually seen with red hair, which Makhadzi has tried today.
Makhadzi and Babes have been at each other’s throats after the latter accused the former of trying to snatch her husband, Mampintsha. Makhadzi responded that she never intended to be in a relationship with the West Ink boss.
Makhadzi applauded
The energetic dancer closed off the show with her hit song Ghanama. She was showered with all sorts of nice words after the performance—what a way to sign off.
“If I had half of Makhadzi‘s energy, I would get so much done,” commented one Tweep. “Makhadzi is our African treasure,” commented another.
