Brenda Fassie comparisons
The Limpopo artist’s performance puts her closer than anyone to the legendary Brenda Fassie.
“Makhadzi wangenwa ama dancing spirits sa Brenda Fassie n Michael Jackson,” a tweep mentioned in the comments, prompting other followers to compare with artists like Beyonce.
“She is our great Beyonce true love, her black African queen,” another said.

Miss South Africa 2022 crowning
Makhadzi witnessed the crowning of Ndavi Nokeri as the reigning Miss South Africa. The beauty queen, who comes from the same province as Makhadzi, said she was thankful to her parents, who are pastors, for instilling strong values in her, and she promised to represent South Africa in its diversity.
The African Queen is having another great year, and she is busy as ever. She arrived from her Europe and Canada tour three days ago after spending a month away from home. She did not appear tired, but her dances were as energetic as we know her.
