Economic Freedom Fighters party leader Julius Malema took time off his tight schedule to have fun at Soweto’s luxury nightclub Konka. His party is currently locked down in negotiations for coalitions as some metros do not have outright majority winners. Not only did Malema visit Konka, but he rocked the party from the deejay’s deck! What a week it has been for DJ Julius Malema.
Splashing the cash on Mercedes Benz GLE Coupe
Fresh from handing over an R1,8 million Mercedes Benz GLE Coupe to AbaThembu King Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo, Malema is enjoying the limelight. Malema said the EFF has always been with King Dalindyebo, even when the ANC imprisoned him.
The former ANC youth leader said the government did a taboo on the Abathembu nation, and he tried all means he could, including bringing together the best legal minds to free the King.
Last month, the King ordered his subjects to vote out the ANC to teach them a lesson during a campaign rally in Mthatha. Despite losing all three major AbaThembu municipalities – Mthatha, Mqanduli and Ngcobo, Malema fulfilled a promise he made during the municipal election campaigns.
DJ Julius Malema at Konka
EFF Spokesperson Vuyani Pambo accompanied Malema to the upmarket night outing. The EFF Commander-In-Chief looked to enjoy himself and looked comfortable with his new job. Malema was playing Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa’s new hit Adiwele.
Konka posted the video on Twitter with the caption: Juju on the decks, Adiwele.

Not the first time
It is not the first time that Malema has taken the Deejay’s role at a gathering. He deejayed at his home during the lockdown and also performed the same task at a party.

Vuyani Pambo in trouble
Meanwhile, Vuyani Pambo is under fire from his boss after he retweeted a Tweet that suggested Malema must step down for the EFF to perform in elections. EFF subsequently removed him from press statement signatures. There is no official communication about the state of his job, but early indicators show he was gaged just like former spokesperson Mbuyiseni Ndlozi.
