Gomora actors Mazet, Stompie, and others showed how they behave behind the scenes while shooting the mob justice scene. For some time now, Stompie ‘Ntandazo Mndayi’ and Mazet ‘Siphesihle Ndaba’ have since grown to be fans’ favourites on Gomora. The two stars come from different backgrounds on the show, but both share a love for committing crimes. Going out and committing crimes like car hijacking and robbery is more fun. They have since established known characters on Gomora, and it’s difficult for fans to imagine them in another character.
Stompie and Mazet worked together on the mob justice scene to bring down young girls, villain Mr Lebalo. Mr Lebalo was famous for sponsoring Gomora High Spelling Bee. In doing so, Lebalo abused his position and beat Gomora High student Sibongile, and he had to have justice. He used his money to buy the police but never would he be able to buy the whole of bitter Gomora residents. After catching him, Mazet and Stompie brought him to the streets, where they left him in the hands of resentful Gomora residents, who gave him a beating until the police arrived. While shooting this iconic scene, Mazet was taking videos of how the whole cast behaved, and it’s exciting and shocking to watch.
How Gomora stars Mazet and Stompie behaved behind the scenes while shooting the mob justice scene
While preparing for the shooting of the mob justice scene, Mazet showed how many of the stars and cast members behave/conduct themselves. Despite viewers only getting to watch actors on television, much work is done behind the scenes. We get to see technicians and producers in the video below.
The two-minute video started with Mazet doing her hairstyle and make-up while Stompie was reading his script. It looked so exciting, and the whole group worked together, showing how much they were united. The sound and video technicians also helped the actors get ready as they made everything look perfect. After that, they all went to the scene where Mr Labalo and the police gathered.
Mazet and Stompie enjoyed their time with Leballo before the shooting despite showing an angry behaviour onset. The Gomora actors behaved in a way that looked like they were playing. Indeed this is why they deem Gomora as a family away from home. Everyone is allowed to act in their most natural way, which is great to watch in the video below.
